Amber Pre-School has been providing Early Years Education for children age 2 to 5 since 1984. Our Mission is to provide a safe, warm and fun environment including a healthy lifestyle.

We create a friendly, open environment in which the children learn through play. We offer a free flow setting, encouraging the children to move between the indoor and outdoor spaces as they choose. Our team support the children with their decisions in all weathers, which complies with Ofsted and The New Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum 2012. We also offer two Outdoor Learning sessions a week to further facilitate fun in nature.

All of the children at Amber are valued as individuals. Each session is planned to give every child a chance to develop their independence, social confidence and learning skills through the following activities:

We are a member of the Early Years Learning Alliance, a national body that helps us to provide for the needs of young children. We also work very closely with the West Sussex Early Childhood Services, who provide training and act in an advisory capacity carrying out quality audits on a regular basis.
